Tongsai Bay
Tongsai Bay is a bay in the north-east of Koh Samui, just north of Choeng Mon. It iis 10 minutes away from Bophut and 15 minutes away from Chaweng by taxi. There is only one hotel in the area - the eponymously named The Tongsai Bay. It is a good luxury option that has its own 200 meter stretch of white sand for their guests' enjoyment. It has a large communal pool, spa, fitness center and tennis courts. The beach is suitable for swimming and the bay has plenty of tree cover that is home to a variety of birds and butterflies.
The Tongsai Bay has been featured by several magazine articles as the 'most romantic spot in Koh Samui'. This is due to the exclusive and romantic setting and the excellence of the staff at the Tongsai Bay. The hotel is rated as the second best in Koh Samui according to people's votes on TripAdvisor.com
Thongson Bay
Thongson Bay is the beach just north of Tongsai. This is another quiet and idyllic beach that enjoys tranquility and a convenient close proximity to Cheong Mon, Bophut, Samui Airport and Chaweng. Again there is one luxury resort available, the Melati Beach Resort and Spa. It offers guests a private beach and one of the most romantic dining spots on the island.
